Police believe the 14-year-old could be in Livingston, Dalkeith or Dundee and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
He is five feet five inches tall and is white in appearance. He is described as having short hair and black coloring.
He was allegedly wearing white Nike shoes, a black North Face down jacket, a black vest, black pants and a zip-top bag with black and red threads.
